I know…. 3 posts in one day is a little excessive. I had to share my happy mail though! My order from Mary Croppins arrived and it had a treasure trove of acrylic stamps in it. Up until last week I had resisted them telling myself it would open up a door I should keep closed. Stampin Up has always been my major stamping resource source and as you know, they only sell the wood mounted system.
Now, I only have one acrylic block so I will have to get some more of these. I know for sure I want ones with grooves in the sides for easier handling. Where to get them though? Share a good source with me and I just might send happy mail to YOU! Leave a comment here on where to buy acrylic blocks economically or on my earlier post asking for doodling ideas and I may have some angelic sweets sent on their way to you. Deadline is Friday, April 27th. Winner will be randomally drawn from the comments from both posts and announced Saturday.
Pictured below are the acrylic stamps I received in my order. I highly recommend Mary Croppins. They even included some free monogram diecuts in A, W and K (this is the initial of both DH & DD! How did they know?) Stamps are from Technique Tuesday, Fancy Pants and Maya Road.
This is a pic of my order, NOT the blog candy. Blog candy pic will be posted later in the week.
Blessings to you~ Angel

I nearly forgot. I was tagged. The idea here is to tag five other sites so you can follow the links to great sites. (I think). I’ve been tagged by Lori Craig (Making a Difference) and by Angie Z. (you’ll know her better as duckwaddlequack) Now it’s my turn and I have to choose 5 who have not been tagged. THIS will be difficult since I am a little late here. Let me try!
1. Sherelle C. at “My Crazy Life”- I love her down to earth style, great tips and amazing photographic skills! What adorable kids too….4 under the age of 5! What a woman. http://sherellechristensen.typepad.com/my_weblog/
2. Tracy H. at “Misplaced Texans”- My friend Tracy just moved to New York. She is very creative both in stamping and writing so her posts are fun to read and I know some day she’ll have some great projects to view as well! http://texan5.blogspot.com/
3. Debbie O.- Okay, so I know she’s been tagged probably. But, I love her work and read her blog all the time. http://www.debbiedesigns.typepad.com/
4. Trudee- Okay, I know, I know, she’s probably been tagged too. I think everybody has (insert whiny voice here) http://trudee.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/ Her work is so very beautiful.
5. I think Amy C. http://amycelona.com/ has not been tagged (until now). I saved her site because of some great projects I can’t wait to try.
Tag….You’re all it!

Well, I didn’t realize that part of this tagged business is telling 7 things about yourself. At least I think it’s 7. I’ve seen some very cute and funny facts. I think mine will be boring, but here goes:
1. Nearly every morning I drink a small cup of chai tea. I love the “Mystic” brand and when we left KS I brought 10 cans with me fearing I couldn’t find it at my local Sams. Guess what? I was right! (insert sad face here).
2. My oldest son is almost 21 and getting married in August. The best thing here is how much we adore his fiancee.
3. Dark chocolate is my ultimate favorite in chocolate.
4. I’ll eat any kind of veggie, but my favorite is CORN and I will eat anything corn. Corn on the cob, cornbread, corn pancakes and the untimate thing we found here in GA- corn nuggets! YUM!
5. I have 4 best friends! My hubby, my daughter, Paula and Peggy.
6. My favorite color is pink- any shade!
7. I’m so proud of my husband serving in the military. He is a Master Sgt in the USAF. We are currently serving at our 3rd duty station stateside. He has been all over the world. I have been to VA, KS and GA!
Like I said, boring but true facts.

It’s been more than a few days since my last post. I was enjoying my aunt and uncle’s visit. They are on their way back to Tennessee now and things will once again get back to normal. We are a military family and I don’t get to see family very often so when I do, that’s what I like to concentrate on- family time. My parents will be here for a couple of days next weekend on their way to Florida to cruise.
As I write this post I am listening to the wooden wind chimes my aunt and uncle brought us from their vacation. The birds are chirping and it’s so peaceful. I just finished a piece of pumpkin dump cake. Yummy. Anybody like pumpkin? I’ll post the recipe if anyone wants it. It is yummy and so easy.
I wanted to share a picture of those picture holders my friend Shelley and I made for our Bible study group. We bought some styrofoam balls and my daughter cut them in half during her theatre tech class. We glued them down onto a CD that was covered in a pretty paper. Then we took silk flowers, popped them off the stem and glued them onto the styrofoam ball. The glue we used was in a tube and it was called “Hold the Foam”. The flowers pushed into the foam pretty easily too. I bought straight floral wires and bent them into a spiral shape at one end. Using tools for this makes it a much better spiral. We stuck three in and voila…. a picture holder. So easy and cute. This would make a nice gift or even a craft for kids. Let me know if you try it. I didn’t case this from anywhere unless it was deep down in the recesses of my memory and I dredged it up….LOL. I don’t think so.

We ended up setting these on some pretty brightly colored summer plates with flowers strewn about. Everything turned out great.
My next project is baby announcements for the twins. They are nearly finished. Just need to do some doodling around the edge then I will post the pic. I’m off to find some doodling samples. Any suggestions?
Have a great Tuesday!
Blessings~ Angel
