I know…. 3 posts in one day is a little excessive. I had to share my happy mail though! My order from Mary Croppins arrived and it had a treasure trove of acrylic stamps in it. Up until last week I had resisted them telling myself it would open up a door I should keep closed. Stampin Up has always been my major stamping resource source and as you know, they only sell the wood mounted system.
Now, I only have one acrylic block so I will have to get some more of these. I know for sure I want ones with grooves in the sides for easier handling. Where to get them though? Share a good source with me and I just might send happy mail to YOU! Leave a comment here on where to buy acrylic blocks economically or on my earlier post asking for doodling ideas and I may have some angelic sweets sent on their way to you. Deadline is Friday, April 27th. Winner will be randomally drawn from the comments from both posts and announced Saturday.
Pictured below are the acrylic stamps I received in my order. I highly recommend Mary Croppins. They even included some free monogram diecuts in A, W and K (this is the initial of both DH & DD! How did they know?) Stamps are from Technique Tuesday, Fancy Pants and Maya Road.
This is a pic of my order, NOT the blog candy. Blog candy pic will be posted later in the week.
Blessings to you~ Angel

Looks like you have some awesome new stamps to play with. You could try Michaels or any craft store for the acrylic blocks. Also Addicted to Rubber Stamps or I think it’s the Frantic Stamper http://www.franticstamper.com/ I’ve heard good things about both of these companies. I have just the regular acrylic blocks without the grips and I think they are “Sugarloaf” and I picked them up locally. I have no problems using them. Plus the price was right.
I also sent you a bunch of links for doodling. I think that’s something I might try too. It looks like fun!

I know that some of the sites that chiefly sell unmounted stamps sell mounting supplies and acrylic blocks too. Here are a few: http://missybdesigns.com/supplies.html, http://www.cornishheritagefarms.com/index.php/cPath/191_301 and http://www.papertreyink.com/acrylic_blocks.html. Michael’s also has some smaller ones that they sell for a dollar!

I got some of mine at WalMart, JoAnn’s and HSN. Another place where you can get them in sets is TAC. Hope this helps…

I bought mine through Papertrey Ink. They came in a set of three and in a cute little bag to store them in. I think they were $5. Those are the only acrylic blocks I own (at the moment anyway!!).

You can find the clear mounting blocks at Michael’s for $1 and they come in different sizes. I did see them at Wal Mart along with clear stamps just the other day. Hope this helps!

I’ve seen the blocks EVERYWHERE! Even at Walmart!! I actually bought the acrylic blocks from CTMH. I got the starter set and they all work great! I even bought the case to put them all in so I can find the right size quickly. I like them better because they have the grooves along the sides.

Angel, I just opened that door as well and joined the world of acrylic stamping. I searched for the blocks with the grooves and only found one that i liked from stampendous, but it did not have the other requirement i wanted–gridlines to be able to line things up straight, especially sentiments. so i was at joanns the other day and found a set of 4 acrylic blocks in a fun carrying case by Scraptrends/Provo Craft. i now do not care that they don’t have the grooves, because they are thick enough to get a good grip! there’s 4 of them –1″x1″, 2″x2″, 3″x3″ and a 2″x6.5″. i think that should cover just about all the bases! they were orig. 14.99, but i used my 40% off coupon and they were around 8.! a great deal, as i have seen just one block be 10.00!! anyway, that’s my 2 cents!

Hi! I purchased my acrylic blocks at Impress. I think they have them on their online store, too.
