Doodling is oh so cool, as it can really bring together diverse sets of stamps and make them all blend. I agree about the zig pens mentioned -- they really are great for this!

I read an article at Creating Keepsakes on becoming a Doodle Diva. Hopefully I'll be able to send you the link:

http://www.creatingkeepsakes.com/mag/article.ihtml?index_field=1657

If it doesn't open try going to Creating Keepsakes website and search Doodle Diva. You should be a pro in no time:) What I enjoy about doodling is that it's fun & you can get creative and fancy as you please:)

Those holders are too cute!! :) I'm still a little nervouse about doodling, but the doodle STAMP I love so much is the "Doodle This" stamp set from Stampin' UP! because it has so many neat doodle designs in it and you can use it in several different ways!! Don't know if that helped at all.

I think it's practice makes perfect for doodles...and don't stress about it...

But i'm not an expert about either. haha.

Glad you're back.

I LOVE to doodle...I think that I doodle a frame around every card I make now-a-days...I just use a thin black marker (fine point) and draw a line...don't worry about it being perfectly straight...it is doodled...every so often I let my hand wiggle and I get a few short lines going in the other direction. I also love to doodle "stick frames" I draw in a line along the edge of each image starting and stopping along the way...and then I add two or three more in the same area. Kind of hard to explain...looks sort of like a frame made with twigs.

Tips...don't try to be perfect...it looks more natural if it is not. Doodle in pencil first if you are more comfortable...then trace over with the marker and then erase any peaking pencil marks...give yourself room...don't doodle frames right at the edges, but in a bit. I will be doing a doodling challenge on my blog on Thursday this week...stop on over!
